She returned to her previous life only to be brought back by the prophet, again, under direct orders from God. Brad Crosley was not a prophet. He was a red-blooded man of integrity with no allegiance to God who pledged unconditional love for a woman who deserted him. Humbly accepting the accusation of being gullible and borderline lunatic, he pursues Stella knowing she might not be willing to restore their relationship. Meanwhile, Brad becomes aware of the fact that he also is being pursued by a God he could no longer ignore.
