The Hardest Part of the Wait is the Weight: Don't Settle for Less. Wait for God's Best.

Many women are searching for love and are often forced to settle on their quest to find it. They find themselves giving everything and receiving nothing in return and somehow are satisfied with these results. Women settle for unfulfilling relationships because of fear and lack of confidence: fear that no one else will come along and not enough confidence to believe that they deserve better. Women just want to be happy, but what many women don't realize is that their happiness is directly related to the quality of people that they allow to come into their lives. Some go from one relationship to the next in search of healing, looking for someone to heal the wounds left by the previous lover. I've heard it said a million times that time heals all wounds. But time doesn't heal us. God heals us over time. So, give God the time that he needs to prepare you for your blessing. I am not saying that you shouldn't follow your heart, but keep in mind that the heart's job is to feel. The heart is not capable of reasoning. If you decide to follow your heart, please be sure to take your head along so that you are able to discern what is right and true. God wants to give you His best. Sometimes, in order to receive God's best we must wait. Waiting is hard. I know because I am waiting, too The hardest part of waiting is the weight that you carry - the loneliness, the depression and the periods of uncertainty, wondering if it is really going to happen for you or if God has forgotten about you. God has not forgotten about you. I encourage you to wait on Him, but don't just wait - wait with confidence, wait with patience and wait in faith, knowing that it is not God's will that you should be alone. There is no such thing as a perfect man, but God has created someone who is perfect for you. God wants to give you His best. So, don't settle for less. Wait for God's best.
