Excellent resource for self sufficiency!!

I think this book is a great resource, especially these days, because many people nowadays weren't raised knowing how to do many of these things described in this book, but need to know how to do today.  This book is well written, easy to understand, and is filled with basic instructions on how to do many things like start a garden, basic canning directions, even how to saddle a horse, but you don't need to live on a ranch to benefit from the things she writes about here.  There's a recipe for a sour dough starter, which I was excited about, how to purify water, basic irrigation info, how to tie knots, some recipes, and so much more.  I highly highly recommend this book, and look at it as a starter book, and am excited to try the things she talks about.  I give it 5 out of 5 stars, and with the way our world is going, I think her sharing her ideas and know-how of how to be self sufficient is a huge win, and she wrote the instructions in a very easy to read format, with pictures included! So I highly recommend it, and look forward to trying many of these ideas. I grew up on a ranch, and know some of these things, and can't wait to try the things I don't know how to do, and share them with my family.  Love this book!!!
