LOVED this Jane Eyre retelling

This was an extremely enjoyable and satisfying read. A great thriller with hints/inspiration of Jane Eyre. It kept you tense and anticipating what would happen next but it wasn’t predictable either so some of the twists were unexpected and surprising. The ending was perfectly unsatisfying (in the best way). The kind of ending where happy but now how you expect, and also kind of sad, AND also a little incomplete/cliff-hangery. 5 ⭐️. Totally recommend.

Pretty good book

It had some really suspenseful parts. It was like Haunting of Hill House meets the Mexico in the 1800's. I didn't much care for the ending though. It was a little childish.
