The guidiance of lore: A Mythical discovery mission

People have used myths, fairy tales, and fables to explain the mysteries of existence since the dawn of humanity. Giving these classic stories a new perspective Cal, a 12-year-old student at Stagwood School, notices someone peering at him through the window as he is painting in class to escape hearing his excruciatingly dull instructor tell a story. Even worse than that is the fact that the salamander is sporting spectacles.

The taciturn but devoted Jason, Cal's best friend, and they discover that the salmander, who prefers the name Amy, has been looking for them for a specific reason. The lads learn that fairytales are true and that magic is afoot in Stagwood when a school administrator called Paul reveals himself to be a dragon. Paul on their side.
