Objectives of this guidebook and catalog from the book: This guidebook and catalog were written to list and evaluate the coinage of all British Commonwealth countries in all countries or areas that were under the British Empire or at one time under British protection. It also lists the coinage of a few countries before they became part of the British Empire, such as the South African Republic, German East Africa, and German New Guinea, and the coinages of other countries after they left the British Commonwealth, such as Burma, Israel, Ireland, Rhodesia, the Republic of South Africa, and the United States of America. This book is in catalog form in black and white; the prices are of no use, but all the rest of the information is helpful. Interestingly, it has the third edition, and it has a plate in it that is signed by Jerome Remick and is 2242 of three thousand.
