As the manager of the Telecommuting site at The Mining Co., I'm always interested in whether companies are offering telecommuting to their employees. The quality resources with this information are extremely rare. This book has that information and more! Which companies offer personal time in addition to sick and vacation time? The answers are here. The San Jose Mercury News has compiled information from 500 of the top technology companies and what they have to offer an employee. Even if you don't go to work for any of these companies, the book provides the employee with comparative information on what other companies are offering their employees for recruiting and retention. One company sent their entire staff to Hawaii for 3 days! Wouldn't you like to know that information before starting to work for a company? This book's a winner for Silicon Valley, all employees looking to better their work situation and the San Jose Mercury News. I only hope they offer a new one each year! Brenda G. Howard
