Just couldn’t push through

The Guest Book is the second book in the Sunset Beach series. I pushed my way through the first book hoping to see something different with this one. I made it to page 70 and called it quits. The story just seems to drag along just as filler going no where. I could not get attached to characters or enter their world. I even jumped many pages skimming to see if I could bring myself to read on. Unfortunately this and the rest of the series will be a DNF.
