The Grimms' Fairy Tales and Their Afterlives: The Exhibit

This book features full-color illustrations and summaries for over 40 exhibition panels and is the product of over a year's worth of collaboration on illustrations with Ohio State Alum Tatiana Melnikova, whose beautiful watercolors bring to life the lectures written by myself for the popular General Education German 2254.02 literature course. Originally planned as part of a student coursebook, these illustrations became the center of an exhibit in Hagerty Hall for the 2021-2022 academic year. The illustrations have also come to provide an inviting aesthetic and some thematic visual cohesion to the online course while drawing attention to key concepts of the lectures.
