Jason, a soldier from a dying, war-torn Earth is sent back in time to administer a biochemical agent into the primordial ocean that will correct humankind's genetic propensity for destruction. Instead of finding a planet void of life, the soldier arrives in a world of myth and forgotten stories. Unable to complete his mission as ordered, Jason struggles to find another way to prevent history's end. He is drawn to a place called Eden, at the center of which is rumored to be a tree that is the cause of humankind's ultimate destruction. Jason vows to find this tree-and to destroy it.
