Some great illustrations

Let's face it. If you buy a book like this you are looking for great illustrations, as there are so many great versions of the fairy tales to choose from. So how do the pictures stack up? The Sleeping Beauty is illustrated by the wonderful Arthur Rackham and is a joy to behold. The Three Bears is illustrated by the inimitable L. Leslie Brooke. Beauty and the Beast is done by Walter Crane, and Jack and the Beanstalk is done by H. M. Brock. The rest of the illustrations were nothing to write home about, except the single picture from Puss in Boots by Maxfield Parrish. So if that's enough good stuff for the price, go for it.
