Great read

First book I read y Michelle Reid. I couldn’t put it down. Every time I did I would go back for another chapter.

Sizzling, hot and very sensual

As always, Michelle Reid never disappoints her readers and fans and The Greek's Force Bride is such an example of what an incredible author she is with this story so full of tension, passion, and understanding and eventually love. The book is full of conflicts.....fiancé, future brother in law, sister and her parents not to mention his ex-wife. Also, let's not forget the sexual tension and the entire cast of characters past and present from being adopted, to being spoiled, and to being used. No wonder Leo Christakis the wealthy billionaire put up a shield around his hart but still stepped in because he was attracted to the lovely Natasha and suspected his brother of wrong doing not to mention Natasha was his brother's future wife. She was a "buttoned up woman" yet he found her sexy. When she appears at her future husband's office to break off their upcoming marriage because she realizes it's a mistake she finds him with her sister in a compromising situation. She is not only shocked, she's sick to the bone. Not to mention that the man who makes her nervous and uncomfortable, her future brother in law witnesses Rico and her sister Cindy having an encounter on his desk. Leo takes things into his hands, emotions flair and everything spins out of control when he decides to take her to Greece. From there everything seems to unravel and becomes not only uncomfortable but upsetting. Michelle Reid has a knack at enticing her readers in to a romantic wind tunnel and taking them on such a journey they don't even realize it until they read her books from cover to cover at one sitting. I adored Leo Christkis, the handsome Greek; proud and stubborn billionaire and how he was drawn to the meek and mind Natasha, his brother's future wife. His protectiveness of her was sweet but not so his passion. I absolutely could not understand her sister and her fiancé's betrayal except for their greed and to make a statement. However, what bothered me the most was Natasha's parents, how they ignored her after her sister was born and how her sister was the "little princess" and stopped at nothing to get her way. But was extremely heartwarming is how Natasha grew in her relationship with Leo, not only in a physical but in an emotional way and became stronger in the process. Michelle Reid's The Greek's Force Bride is not a love story you'll want to miss due to the nature of its passion, intensity, and attraction

Minor plot holes but worth the read.

Natasha was engaged to Leo's stepbrother Rico, when she and Leo both walked in on him having sex with her younger sister. Leo does a bit of damage control and takes Natasha home with him so she doesn't have to go back to her place where her sister also lives. Being the horribly blunt person he is, he admits that he's always wanted her, and Natasha, needing to feel wanted at that moment attempts to seduce him, which fails miserably. Unfortunately for Natasha, Rico was not so secretly stealing money from Leo's company, and had put it in a bank account under her name, telling her it was an inheritance that they wouldn't be able to touch until a few days before the wedding. Leo finds out that the money is in her name and assumes that she's in on the theft. In order to avoid going to jail, she agrees to stay with him and sleep with him until the time she can sign for the money and give it back. When they do wind up sleeping together Leo finds out that she really was a virgin like she told him and he feels honor bound to marry her. She doesn't want to get married but she winds up being backed into a corner and agrees. Even though she's relatively happy living with him, it's not without problems, not the least of which his psycho sex-starved ex-wife who still thinks he should be with her. I honestly liked this book. It was a quick and generally nice read. There were a couple of plotholes that bugged me a bit. Her younger sister looked like her, when Leo walked in and found Rico bonking her at the beginning he thought it was Natasha. Not too far along we find out that actually they aren't really sisters because Natasha was adopted when her parents thought they couldn't have children and her sister was the girl they had afterwards. The money that Rico stole was put into an account under her name, and it couldn't be touched until a few days before the wedding. I found it difficult to believe that it would be in her name, especially when he was with other women. If I could have only changed one thing about this book it would have been to give Natasha options. She literally had no where to go and no one to turn to after she finds her sister and Rico together. When Leo backs her into a corner, there was practically nothing else she could do. Despite that, the author still managed to convince me that Natasha was there because she chose to be there which says a lot for her writing technique.

Excellent Reid book - highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. The interchange between the H/H is just excellent and I have found myself going back to re-read sections because I enjoyed them so much the first time. The characters seemed so strongly fleshed out and real to me and they stayed true to how Ms. Reid introduced them from the start of the book, especially the hero (his blunt way of talking was pretty interesting and I liked how the heroine recognized that as one of the hero's more attractive features even in the middle of their many battles). I loved how you knew what the two characters were feeling just from some minimally described thoughts and statements, even when it was obvious they didn't know how they were feeling themselves! This is probably going to be my favorite Reid book for some time to come. Kudo's Ms. Michelle Reid. You out did yourself this time! One of the few times I've read a Harlequin where I didn't want the book to end.
