The Greatest of These is Love

This is a collection of my poetry and prose about the superlative quality of love in all its forms. Since I published my last book in 2022, I have wanted to put together a collection of poems and reflections on this quality.

Beginning with the obvious aspect of mutual love in a marriage, my thoughts turned to other types of love such as love of neighbour, love for the people in our community, self-love, lost love, unrequited love, what we love to do, and the love of God.

In this book, I have included photographs from our family album and provided information about myself and my family. I hope by doing so you will get to know me a little better both as a person and as a poet. Among these poems and personal reflections you, the reader, will find words of comfort, gratitude, humour, courage, and most of all, expressions of love.

All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to Action Mental Health, a Northern Ireland charity. I hope you will enjoy reading it.
