I would recommend this translation to someone who is new to Islam.

When I talk about Islam and tell them to read a good English translation of the Quran I sometimes get a little worried because of all the sectarian mess of a translation that are out there. Thankfully this one fixed all the controversial verse mistranslation the sectarians created. I’m more comfortable recommending this Quran translation to someone that’s interested in Quran alone Islam. In fact I like this Quran translation so much that I’m gonna order another one lol.

An easy to understand, English Qur'an interpretation with NO footnotes or parenthetical explanations

This is an amazing English language interpretation of The Qur'an. You will be able to read just the text without the interpreters thoughts and opinions constantly butting in, leaving room for personal understanding/personal revelation from God as you read the translation of His Words. In the intro, they explain the method of translation which I really liked. I DID check out their PDF version before purchasing this in the past, so I knew I was gonna like it, but I had no idea how much clearer and easier it would be to understand the Quran and Islam with this interpretation. I can't say enough about it, and I'm waiting for one to become available here so I can buy a second "guest copy" for my friends and people who are curious/ new to Islam to read/borrow from me. I HIGHLY recommend.
