The Holy Trinity is not an easy item to comprehend let alone discussed at the dinner table. There are a lot of explanations, analogies, and scholarship that has gone into understanding this paramount issue. Most Christians would agree that this is a tear one issue. Our faith rises and falls on the understanding that we serve one God, yet we have three distinct persons. This book is meant to help the reader see how the oneness of God and His character should be known and understood. From the self-described traits that He has given Himself, does each meet the criteria? Then the second section is how history has helped shaped our understanding of the Trinity. Councils have met to discuss this issue on several occasions. They have also helped define key words or phrases that distinguish our understanding of God. The last section is distinguishing the persons of the Trinity into their unique parts. What is it about each that makes them unique even as they work all things together. I hope the scholar and the Sunday School teacher can gain important insights into the subject. This book began as a research paper at Hannibal LaGrange College in the 1990's, now that 12 page paper has turned into a much larger work that has had hours of study and research.
