In this book there are six different exercises to try throughout the story, which include: progressive muscle relaxation, breathing and mindfulness exercises. They are a fun way of practicing the techniques and equipping children with a coping mechanism to try when things begin feel overwhelming. Hopefully with a bit of practice and prompting the next time those meltdowns occur they will become easier to control.
