Growing up in Chicago during the late 1960's through the early 1980's was a magical time in my life. I wrote this book as a way of memorializing those times and before my mind fails me and much of what I experienced is lost. Not being a professional writer this book is more of a summary of a 25 year period in my life that I had the pleasure of meeting so many good friends and families while at the same time living in a family of twelve, when men were men, women were women and the children knew the difference. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen yourself, right now, right down here on Earth."
