The GracePointe Story: Celebrating the First Ten Years

The first ten years of the GracePointe journey has been an exciting and interesting ride, even if spotted with the occasional tragedy or setback. As with any adventurous journey, there have been obstacles and roadblocks, mountains and valleys, detours and stretches of construction, but through it all we have accomplished what many new churches don't; we have made it to our tenth year And that is exactly what this book is about; a brief history of our brief history. I have devoted the lion's share of this story to the first five years, as those were our formative years, taking us from infancy to childhood. Using the circle of life as a metaphor, I believe that GracePointe is still in its youth, and therefore has a long way to go. While many exciting things have happened in the last four or five years, and several great families have joined our church, it is the first five years that defined us, shaped us, and positioned us to become the church we are today. It is my prayer that this book will become a treasure that you cherish for years to come, and if the Lord tarries and if we stay faithful, may we look forward to the next part of our story when we celebrated twenty years in the year 2025. Wow; that thought even scares me a little, but in a good way. May God bless you as you follow Him.
