gospel according to muke

This book is a treasure. The gospel account itself is very moving, and the way it is presented in this illuminated version with simple and moving illustrations is artistically beautiful. All of the Old Testament references in the side column help you to make (historic and prophetic) connections, which Mark undoubtedly was intending for the reader to make and that most of the 1st Century Jewish audience would have made. This made the gospel account even richer. Also the commentary and explanations in the back of the book that went with each page were very helpful as well. Anyone wanting to know who this Jesus is all about cannot walk away the same after reading this.
