The Gospel of an Angel tells the story of how an angel came to earth to record everything that Jesus said and did, including the reactions of the characters in the story of His life. With a little imagination this story can take flight. It does not alter the records of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John who wrote in the New Testament, but it supplements them, and it deals with the impressions that were made upon Omni, the angel with the commission to write. He records all that the Gospel writers had to leave out due to the constraints of space, like the events of Jesus' childhood. Omni does not give his views in the record that he wrote, but he definitely has thoughts and questions that must be answered, and before it is over Omni comes to understand the mystery of why the Son of God came to earth to live as other men. It is an adventure worth taking, and it helps bring the story of Jesus to life. All that he wrote will be available to us when we get to heaven. There are books in heaven, so why not a series of books on the most important story in heaven and earth? Nothing has been lost. God often uses angels and men to do His work, even though He could do it Himself. This is not another gospel; it is the same gospel that we have always loved with a look at the impression it would have made on one of the angels.
