For myself, the cry of Jesus on the Cross “My God, my God. Why have you forsaken me?” (conveyed for effect by the Evangelist in Aramaic) always confounded me. Is God lamenting His own fate? But the human Jesus (the one who is revealed as “God IN Christ” vs. “God IS Christ”) could understandably say this. It would be an error to preach the divine Jesus while ignoring the human Jesus.
