The Good Pliosaur

By Spencer Patterson

Book Overview

Award-Winning Christian Children's Picture Book

Winner of the American Writing Awards, Author Shout Book Awards, and Digital Book Today Awards, The Good Pliosaur is a biblically faithful retelling of the Good Samaritan featuring prehistoric ocean creatures, praised by Kirkus Reviews as "a sweet story about empathy and reciprocity" and recognized by The U.S. Review of Books as "an engaging story with a strong moral message."

Brett the plesiosaur must swim deep into the ocean to bake cookies for his mom, but when his long neck isn't strong enough to save him from the dangers in the darkness, who will be? A biblically and contextually-faithful retelling of the parable of the Good Samaritan in the ancient ocean, The Good Pliosaur doesn't shy away from pride, bandits, and bruises as it shines light on the unfathomable love God has for us and the love He calls us to have for one another.
