Based on real Biblical characters found in 2 Kings and 1 & 2 Chronicles in the Bible's Old Testament, this is a story about a young boy who becomes the king of the nation of Judah. The nation of Israel is divided amongst itself and is not only facing a religious crisis but the surrounding nations are warring against one another and threatening Israel. After two generations of idol worship, God's chosen people have fully turned against The Law of Moses and they need to be saved from the wrath of God. King Josiah, at the age of eight, will lead his country and its people back to worshipping the one true God. This is his story.
