Great

This book is not supposed to be taken seriously and should be looked at as a joke. The joke is what it was like in the 40's and 50's and what the women and men were supposed to be like to their husbands/wives. A great book and a great book when it comes to parties.

Great Gift!

I agree that this title makes a great gift. I also loved The Good Wife Guide, and this title complements it well with the same sarcastic humor and fun, retro magazine images. Love it! And only $10 for a full-color hard-cover? Even better!

Like the previous title, The Good Wife Guide, this book is fun, retro, and hilarious. It is not meant to be taken seriously; it is meant to be a tongue-in-cheek look at marriage. Other reviewers need to gain a sense of humor and realize that this book is actually quite a gem and would make a great gift to any boyfriend, husband, or husband-to-be with a sense of humor!
