very nice little book

A slim little book but I've flagged loads of recipes I want to try in it: lemon and Romano cheese dumplings in broth, parsnips glazed with lemon and vodka, Madeira-lemon cake, André Soltner's almond-lemon tart, and several others. In addition to recipes, there is a short but very useful list of lemon-related suggestions. I also appreciate that the authors went above and beyond the call of duty and suggested menus and wines to go with most (if not all!) of the savory dishes. A very nice little book to give as a gift.
