Escape To The Planet Dora

I happened upon author S.C. Klaus at a book signing one day recently and bought a copy of her novel, The Golden Harpy. This was a very good decision on my part because I found myself quickly engrossed in her story once I started reading her book. A futuristic adventure fantasy, the story unwinds a seemingly unending series of obstacles that interfere with the undying love between a young woman, named Kari, and Shail (The Golden Harpy). Klaus writes with an engaging style that allows the reader to float through her story, as if on a hovercraft over the planet Dora. I really enjoyed rading this book and I think you will too. SiFi Fantasy Story is Exciting, Mystical and Action Packed!

The story of the Golden Harpies on the planet Dora is action packed, mystical, exciting, and at the same time a touching love story. It's a real page tuner that will keep you captivated with it's descriptive passages and intricate plot twists and turns. The characters are well developed and provide an intimate look into relationships, as well as question our own prejudices about the human condition. All this leads to a climax that is sure to please and leave you wanting more.

The Pepper Tree Literary Magazine by Ellie Parnes

In The Golden Harpy, a fantasy love and suspense story by S.C. Klaus, we meet the beautiful, inquisitive Kari. Her father banished her from their lush, exotic planet, Dora, to Earth for ten years in order to protect her from a "malicious" golden harpy, one of the half-human, half-bird beings, who cohabit on their "kaleidoscopic jungle' of a planet. The novel, which contains a few mature scenes, is ideal not only for science fiction lovers, but also for readers who want to delve into a mystical yet relatable world of passion and danger.

exotic adventure love story

This book is a story of pure true love with lot's of adventure on an exotic planet. The twists and turns (and incredible love scenes) keep the pages turning. You feel so strongly for the characters that you can not put this book down. This is a book that I may not have read based on my usual reading preferences because I don't usually lean towards sci- fi but this is a story that can't be catagorizes so easily. I really enjoyed it and hope for The Golden Harpy Book 2 really soon.
