THE GOLDEN FLUTE is a pseudo-epic Fantasy Quest guaranteed to set J.R.R. Tolkien whirling in his grave. A wacky spoof that pulls out all stops.
The King of the gremlins has stolen the Golden Flute of Love and the Woodland Elves form a Quest to retrieve it, with the aid of a satyr, two fairies, the Queen of the Sprites, and Jerry Griphler, a confused human who has been a failure at writing romance novels.
During this quest, they have encounters with gargoyles, goblins, a dragon, an ogre, a beautiful damsel-in-distress Princess, and a sparrow that flies upside down. Even a hobbit briefly crosses their path.
Jerry has a hard time coping with this Land of Fantasy and Enchantment he has found himself in. By the time the Quest is over, Jerry has learned that Fantasy ain't all it is cracked up to be,
