Book in very good to fine condition, slip case in fair condition. Hardcover with boards in cream and brown striking fleur-de-lis pattern, brown cloth spine with gilt lettering. 205 numbered pages. Anatole France novel set in the time of the French Revolution. Book is tight and clean, one small price mark on front inside board. Original paper covered slip case shows shelf wear.
