Our heroes, Sir. Thaddeus Valance[Thad] a skilled elven warrior and King's constable of Bravos; a village in the Kingdom of Tyloria; his deputy and buddy Troy [a half elf] were relaxing at a local tavern called the Rusty Sword Inn. Having a few steins of mead and playing Castles and Kings a popular card game. Troy was smiling as always, having one of his lucky streaks. He had a fair pile of golds crowns and silver sovereigns in front of him. Sir Valance was down about fifty silver sovereigns and decided to quit the game before he loses his shirt. Lady Linda; An elven temple maiden, temple guard, and healer walked into the pub with her large bird type kelpie named Razor rousting on her shoulder guards. And posted a notice on the bulletin board. She went to a table and ordered herself a drink. Sir Valance; Being asked by the Tavern owner to tell the woman, animals are not welcome in his tavern, and to leave or take her bird outside. Sir Valance - being the constable does his duty making Linda Linda's pet Kelpie jump down and walk outside. He was shocked the bird seemed to understand him! It walked outside without coaxing. [He and Troy found out later that Lady Linda and Razor had a special connection that would prove useful down the road.] Afterwards he checked the notice on the bulletin board. Lady Linda and the temple was offering a thousand gold crowns each reward; for warriors that would join her on a quest to recover sacred items that were stollen during a fertility festival. From the Fertility Goddess's temple; two large red fire gems that was used as the eyes of the temple Fertility Goddess's statue. He and Troy were not too busy in Bravos because of the King's zero tolerance for crime. All criminals convicted of even the smallest crime faces the executioners axe. So crime in the Kingdom of Tyloria was almost nonexistent. Our heroes take the job. After deputizing the tavern owner - who was known as an honorable man - to watch out for trouble in Bravos as he and Troy help Lady Linda recover the stollen temple items. He and Troy sometimes; does side quests to stay in fighting condition and a thousand gold crowns is a lot of gold!As they traveled they come across a golden fairy merchant Primrose in the midst of battle with bandits. They gave her aide her and defeated the bandits, but not before they stole her barter and gravely wounded the beautiful golden fairy Primrose with a fairy wart treated poison dart. [Fairy wart is the only poison that is toxic to fairies in elven maiden form. Fairy wart and iron are the only two things that can kill a fairy. Because they are considered Dimi-Goddess'. The elven maiden sized Primrose blacks out, barely alive at the side of the road. She was poisoned; but lucky for Lady Primrose Lady Linda - being a healer - just happen to have an antidote for fairy wart poisoning and gave it to the stricken Golden Fairy Dini-Goddess.Lady Primrose eventually recover fully. They find out that when someone saves a fairies live the fairy owes them a life dept.Lady Primrose now in dept to our heroes; joins their quest to recover her barter from the bandits that escaped. And the Goddess's Eyes stollen from the temple. It takes a sunrises for Primrose to fully recover. When she does, she shows great power beyond belief and the ability to change size from eleven maiden form to little fairy maiden form. And they find out that is not her only ability. Our heroes ends up in the sticky situation of falling in love during their quest. The four of them continue on the quest, overcoming foes as they travel. They eventually find that the stolen Goddess's Eyes were stolen by a green fairy and sold to a powerful lord who happen to have a powerful evil fairy for a mate and the wicked queen wants to use the power the gems possess to rule! One hero is destined to fall; before the quest is done! Will they win the day? Or fall in battle trying?
