This book is intended as a way for goat farmers to keep track of the kids being born in their herd, including lineage and health.It is divided into three sections. The first four pages are for your quick reference. Titled "Quick Glance: Lineage," these pages contain a table where you can enter all of your goats' ID (numbers or names) information, as well as their parent's ID. The next five pages - "Adult Goat ID" - are for keeping a quick simple log of your goat herd. This section includes a table to write a goat ID, their sex, their date of birth, and quick description or source of purchase.The final section, which makes up the majority of this book, is dedicated to "Individual Records." These pages allow for greater detail. On the first page, you have space for their ID (again, name or number), sex, birthdate, parents' ID, a space for pasting a picture or for drawing their distinctive markings. Then you have an area for writing rearing notes.
