The book describes how immigrants suffer in this country by changing their entire habitat. It also talks about the way they are treated and how hard it is for them to comply with immigration laws and regulations. They come to the USA, looking for a better haven, and with good expectations, they are leaving their country and families behind. Instead, they experience human disrespect, fraud, and lack of opportunities because of their immigration status, and they are forced to continue living undocumented because the laws are difficult to comply with. It also shows how I have worked my way up with hard work and devotion to be who I am today in spite of changes in immigration laws that I have to comply to perform my professions (bonds, etc.). This talks about how I have not change my ideologies of assisting immigrants in their journey to the American Dream and being proud of my Honduran roots and being an immigrant myself.
