The Glory of the Great Commission

By Jonathan Williams

Jesus' commission to reach the world was not an afterthought. It was not a backup plan made
necessary by man's sin. It was God's first thought and God's first plan.

Any commitment we have to the Great Commission must be rooted in this primary truth -
the Great Commission is God's commission for his glory to fill the earth. Our passion to do God's will must be energized by His passion to see His glory fill the earth and, indeed, the entire universe.
