Lane has lived long enough waiting for Colton to take the next step and sign the formal engagement papers. The Glimmer is supposed to make everything easier for the Royal line when it comes to finding true love. Her heart begs for him to simply take time for her, more time than the thirty minutes scheduled for their unneeded dance lesson every day. Colonel Elana Schorlack has had her fill and is finished with the ridiculous waiting, ongoing Rebel attacks that steal loved ones left and right, and sitting on her hands versus using her skills all because she is the Silver Glimmer. She could do more good for the kingdom and lighten Colton's load if she was allowed to finally work by his side as his princess and wife. She would have all the clearance necessary, and maybe she would finally be granted the time needed for them to fall in love with one another and prove their Glimmers true. Maybe then they would be a fairytale that shined as bright as their ancestors versus the cursed princess tale she currently lives. Either way she is tired of the dance, the stories, tagging along on his arm for the show. Maybe after she has left, they will know for sure what Colton thinks of her when she is no longer waiting around for him.
