The Glacier That Wept Salt
The glacier at the end of the fjord is melting faster than it should. Its runoff tastes wrong. It leaves white crust on leather, tools, and lips, like the land is sweating brine.
Dr. Eira Hansen arrives at a remote Arctic research station to answer a clean scientific question: why are the melt rates accelerating, and why do the core samples read like the ice record has been shuffled. The station chief, Lars Magnusson, wants discipline and procedure. Geologist Freya Nilsen wants proof. Technician Oskar has only a warning the locals still whisper: the "weeping ice" takes things from you.
