A young couple unable to have children open a home for troubled teens in the 1960's. They invite one young girl to be their first tenant and eventually adopt her baby. After a tragic accident takes their lives, the girl is left to run the home. Four girls meet at the Girls Home in the 1970's. Each girls' story unfolds throughout the chapters. As they face the trials of peer pressure, unplanned pregnancy, eating disorders and foster care they form an unbreakable friendship. Different events transpire as they learn to trust again and move forward with their lives. Through the influence of others, the girls make decisions that affect their lives in negative ways and the steps they take at the Everly Hall School for Girls transform their lives in a positive way.
