What if the things people lose aren't really gone?
Nora has always collected lost things-buttons, marbles, ribbons, toys, and anything else left behind. She believes every lost object once belonged to someone and deserves to be found.
But when Nora discovers an old wooden horse, something impossible happens. The horse shows her a memory belonging to a little boy who disappeared years ago.
Soon, Nora discovers that lost objects may hold more than memories. They may hold clues.
A mysterious woman, a forgotten train station, a strange wooden door, and a boy who seems to know Nora's name pull her into a mystery far bigger than she ever imagined.
Because some things are lost for a reason.
And some things may be waiting to be found.
