This book appeals to girls of many ages, it gives great advice to girls who are having trouble with guys.Kelli, who is the main charater,and her friends tries to get a date with all the guys that are in the game.I like this book becuase I could understand what was happining and it went into great detail.The book is about everyday life it isn't like those books that you know that couldn't happen.I enjoyes this book and i think you will too.

In the Girl Who Invented Romance, by Caroline B. Cooney, the main character, Kelly, invented a game of romance for a class assignment. The assignment was to show the way boys and girls differed and were similar, but Kelly's project, after many failed attempts, rose and showed the many sides of romance, and the different views from different genders. Kelly aches for real romance, and her game just might bring that to her. Eith the help of her brother, Parker, her best friend, Faith, and the students in her class, including the evil Wendy and the gorgeous basketball star,Will, Kelly goes on and adventure searching for love and romance, just what she needs when her whole world falls apart. Could love really be just one toss of the dice? I sincerely enjoyed reading The Girl Who Invented Romance. Cooney really expressed herself as a lonely sixteen-year-old longing for love. One would almost think that Cooney had been in a situation like this before. I agreed wholeheartedly with the story. To me, the moral was that romance can easily be mistaken for love, but through talking and support true love will shine through. I thought the whole plot was genuinely hilarious and well thought. The story of love and laughter is what any teenage girl would desire. The idea of making a board game to win Happily Ever After is creative and realistic, after all what else would anyone want? I would definitely reccomend this book to anyone who is looking for love and laughter. If you are like me and can't get enough of romance and just can't seem to find your "knight in shining armor" this book will be the story of your life. The way it related to my life, made it feel as if it was written for me. Deeply sincere this story shows what every girl feels and reports it without your knowledge. I felt it to be intriguing until the last page.

Cute Book

I bought this book at a book fair not knowing if it was good or not. I read it in 1 day!! I couldn't put it down!! It was soo cute!! Kelly Williams has never had a date and dreams of finding the right boy. She looks around her and sees her parent's marriage and how in love they are and she sees how in love her brother is and her friend Faith is love the the bball star!! She has never fell in love or had real romance so she invents this game called Romance:The Game! I highly recommend this book if u love a romance story that is an easy read!!

Excellent book

This was an outstanding book. I love how Kelly finally hooked up with the snobiest guy in school, Will, and realized that he was an ok guy. I also like that Kelly's brother got with Kelly's best friend, Faith. I would love to read this again and again.
