Popularity.........Is It What Every Girl Wants?

Are you a teen? Do you want a book that deals with situations that you go through in your everyday life? Then _The Girl Most Likely_ is the book for you. I give this book five stars because it teaches you that being rich and popular does not give you happiness. Stacy Hartcourt has everything a high school girl could ever want. She is pretty, popular, rich, captain of Midvale High's cheering team, and she goes out with the captain of the football team. Her best friend Tess since Kindergarten and her click rule the school. You would think she would be the happiest girl in the world but for some strange reason she is the unhappiest girl in the world. Her current relationship with Rich is not what she wants anymore but she is not sure if she should let him go or not. She finally decides to let him go and as soon as she did someone else came walking into her life. The tall, darkhaired, handsome, mechanic Nick Cooper! He just mezmorizes her and sends shivers down her spine. No other boy had ever made Stacy feel like this before. There was one problem Nick was a Techi and her click did not hang around with those types at all. Since she liked Nick so much she secretly saw him so her group would not find out about them. Seeing Nick was taking so much of her time that she hardly had time for any of her friends especially her best friend Tess. Tess started hanging out with new friends and not her anymore. Just as she thought things could not get any worse Nick decides that they should not see each other anymore. He told her that he thought they did not truely love each other but that they were just attracted to each other physically. On top of all that her chance of being crowned carnival queen was becoming slim. Her cheering partner was coming close to even taking her spot as captian. All her time that she spent with Nick took away from everything else. Stacy was a fighter and was determined to be crowned carnival queen and get her relationships and friendships straightened out. Does Stacy get crowned carnival queen? Is her position as captain replaced? Do her and Nick get back togther? Does she ever become friends with Tess??? You will have to read this awesome book to find out. I hope you enjoy this book as much as i did!
