hey this is probley the best book i have ever read! I started to read it is 4th grade and I didn't finish. I have since looked for the book and now found it. The suspension in it was great i always wanted to finsish it. I think the little town scene that Wilma Yeo sents is perfect. The little girls best friend thinks she sees her friend in the window and she keeps envestigating it, and gets the police to look further into it, when it was really her dad who took her because he wanted to see her more. This is my all time favorite book I am now a 10th grader i looked 6 years to find this book just to finish it. It has stuck with me and it is a book i highly recommend! hey I looked 6 years to find it!
I liked this book very much because it's like a mystery.

This book is about a girl who thinks she saw Lidy Ann in her bedroom. Lidy Ann Alcott had been kidnapped about a year ago, from her own house. The girl thinks Lidy Ann is being held hostage in her own house and gets police to reopen the investigation. At the end, they find out that Lidy Ann's father had kidnapped her because he missed her. I didn't want to put the book down until the mystery was solved. It think other kids should read this book. by Jennifer Beltran, Nazareth School, 5th grade
