This is a good story. I’m excited to read book 2.

This is a good story. It hasn’t gripped me like the book of the Ancestor trilogy but I’m here for the taking! This book is set in the same world called Abeth. The FMC is learning about her quintal powers. I think this may be the same Yaz from the Holy Sister but only as a younger girl…not sure. It can be a bit confusing to follow but I’m always invested in the type of world that Mark Lawrence builds with strong FMCs that learn to grow in their strength and courage to help the world survive the darkness and cold that can exist.
