The Graves Family History by Alastair H.C. Thomson. Ginny, the ultimate fashionable young miss, comes to life for her legions of collectors in this colorful and informative book! All rare and unusual... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The book arrived on time. The price was reasonable as it was originally 30 bucks according to the inside jacket. It smelled new and cracked open like new. Seller SAID it was new. Great photos of dolls in order of year made. Lots of clothes for the dolls pictured. Happy with the product.
Ginny Doll Reference Book

This is an excellent reference book written specifically about Vogue Ginny Dolls. It also includes the Vogue family: Jill, Jeff, and Ginnette. The history of how these dolls were created, and changed. The photos are terrific. There are different photos that aren't included in other books with explanations about the different tags and how they indicate a time period when the clothes were made. This doll was begun in the 40's, hit a peak in the 50's and is still made today. Quite collectible vintage doll.
My review applies to the revised edition I just acquired, 2004 copyright. It features over 350 full-color photos and is very, very informative. I especially liked the fact that all Ginnys shown in this book are wearing their authentic costumes and accessories! This book has very elaborate descriptions and include pictures of many of the original boxes that the Ginnys came in. What more can I say? It's well worth the investment! Love this book!
