Annointed Book by Great Man

I have known Greg Rice for many years and seen him grow as a Christian in a miraculous way. This series of books was placed in Greg's mind and he was held 'captive' by the Holy Spirit to produce these. If you know anyone who is in jail this is the series he/she must read. It will change their life.

God's pricelss Gifts offered to all of us

This is an appropriate book for the Christmas season for any Christian who truly wants to learn about the Gifts to Jesus of gold, frankincense and myrrh. This book by Greg Rice is "The Gifts of Freedom Book 2". The spiritual guidance in this book includes the importance of submitting your will, of right relationships, of contentment,of living a life of priority setting, and always remembering Satan as the master deceiver. Greg Rice addresses we are to be a unified body of Christ. All of the writings within this book is buried in the Word of God with many Bible references for our spiritual growth.

Keys to Opening Your God Given Gifts, Talents, and Skills

"Understanding Provision, Communication, and Death" is the second book in the series "The Gifts of Freedom." David Rice ably communicates profound insights into the significance of the gifts of gold, frankincense, and Myrrh. Each gift brings with it a key to knowing and understanding related spiritual principles. Rice develops the concept that gold represents God's promise to provide our physical needs, to give us joy and hope in adversity, and to sustain and protect us. He goes on to compare the sweet smelling aroma of incense with the way God receives our praise, worship, and prayer in communication with Him. He concludes with lessons from myrrh as a symbol of death; death to self. He then shows how reflect on the death of Christ and His resurrection and the promise of rebirth which brings meaning and purpose to life. I found the unique "action and visualization" feature mentally stimulating and spiritually enriching. This feature encourages the reader to reflect on the preceding key principle, thought, or related scripture. The exercise enhances the assimilation and application processes. Another key feature of the book is the study guide provided. Thought provoking questions give the reader the opportunity to honestly respond to questions that stir the heart to life changing action. Illustrated meditation points at the end of each chapter bring home practical summary statements of the chapter highlights. Greg's writing is potent, relevant, and convicting. "Understanding Provision, Communication, and Death" is filled with selected scripture passages that under gird a strong message of God's provision for answers to today's stress, financial worry, and fear of death.

More Gifts

Author Greg Rice delivers the second book in the Gifts of Freedom series entitled "Understanding Provision, Communication And Death." This work is truly a continuation of the first book as the author describes three more gifts given mankind from God. Although the chapter headings reference gold, frankincense and myrrh Rice goes into great detail about how our Creator desires a relationship with mankind whereby humans can respond to His invitation by utilizing faith, praise and worship and prayer. Rice also explains what it means to be born again, gives the believer tools to defeat Satan's temptations and shows how God provides for every need no matter what. As in the first book, Rice gives the reader a lot of scripture to validate the spine behind his convincing arguments. This work is not a quick read because there is much to understand and ponder. I averaged about 25 pages per sitting and took advantage of the study guide in the back of the book to further understand the concepts presented. I enjoyed the second book as much I did the first and would recommend it for all Christians no matter where they are within their walk. Although it is not imperative to have read the first book because a short summary of it is provided here, I would strongly suggest reading them in sequence as they were meant to be experienced. I truly believe the Holy Spirit is speaking through Rice in this series of books in an attempt to bring man closer to God and his Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

provision

Good book about how God provides for us physically, mentally and spiritually. God promises provision to all the righteous. We are to seek His Kingdom and he will provide everything we need.
