Exciting reading

The Gifted Ones was a good read from beginning to end. It combined elements of science fiction, the supernatural and a love story. I got very involved in the characters and cared about what happened to them. I am looking forward to more of the story in Ms. Herink's next book.

Edge of your seat!

No matter your preferred style or genre, you will love this story. It is fast paced making it hard to put down. I loved the characters and how their personalities were exposed through action, drama, and fascinating connections within the story. The title alone makes you want to know more and that continues throughout the book. I hope to see more from Ms. Herink.

Best Book I Read in 2008!

WOW! What a page turner! I could not put the book down! I finished the book in 2 days and now I want more! The characters are totally enthralling. By the end of the book, I felt I knew each one of them. I was completely mesmerized by the plot and the characters. Everything about this book is unique and yet familiar. You will be transported. I can't wait till it becomes a movie.
