Beautiful and Inspirational!!

This book is beautiful not only for its outstanding artwork but for its beautiful message of hope, love,and inspiration. Definately a great book for a child for Christmas, Chanukkah, Kwanaza, or Diwali becuase the message of love and hope is universal, and the author does a wonderful job of conveying this message with the multicultural aspect of this book.

Though I may be biased, as a long-time Magsamen fan, The Gift is one of the most beautifully illustrated books that I¹ve seen in a long time. With a touching story about how the act of giving is the real gift in life, Magsamen has succeeded again in presenting a rich story with pages full of inspiring drawings.
