Someone has said that poetry is the language of love because it speaks to the heart. Maybe it is also the language of Angels because it also speaks to the soul. Poetry is a language that speaks softly, in a voice that one must listen intently to hear what is spoken. At other times, poetry speaks loudly with a thunderous voice that echoes throughout the universe. The echo of the voice of poetry never dies. It is a resounding voice reverberating from generation to generation. Poetry takes the wings of the morning and soars to lofty heights that few can see. Poetry flies over oceans feeling the cooling breeze of winds gusting from waters that never cease. Poetry flows over snowcapped mountains viewing the awesome works of the hand of God. Poetry flies over great forests speaking to trees as they seek to stretch their limbs toward heaven. Poetry is an entity that will never cease.The book, "The Gift of Salvation" uses poetry to emphasize the greatest gift given to mankind, God's great Gift of Salvation. In this book, I attempt to use poetry as a tool to highlight and underscore the significance of God's great love for humanity."For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
