A good read

This is a good first book for Patty. It's an easy read; I read it on those long boring legs while flying back to the U.S. from the Mid East. It is a suspenseful short novel on the realistic exploits of a single young gal who has had a few bad experiences with love back in her home state of Arkansas. She then moves to this small Texas town after her grandmother dies and leaves her the old family house. There, she falls for a guy who she tries to start a life with but then he leaves her unexpectedly; after which some strange things begin happening to her and during that sequence of events she falls for the local deputy. This story has suspense, romance and real life drama. A good read.
