the BEST and most AFFIRMATIVE book i've read on THE MIND

Add this to the wisdom of Dr. Daniel G. Amen, MD and Tamara Lowe's GET MOTIATED ...and you have a prescription for a healthy mind...or at least TOOLS to do the necessary PROCESSES...BRILLIANT "discoveries"... (Dr. Leaf has another book: WHO SWITCHED OFF MY BRAIN that gives SPECIFIC tools to "take every thought captive." FORGET EVERYTHING you THINK you know about your mind and be refreshed with these!!!

Easy to read and understand providing thorough scientific backup as well as personal experience. The book is a great source o encouragement and hope that you and I can overcome the past, any past.

Discovering the special gift in yourself and others

Working with children and students is often frustrating when they don't achieve what I know is possible. As I read the pages of The Gift in You: ... by Dr. Caroline Leaf I could see where simple questions and observations on my part, could reveal to me what I could do differently with each student to bring out his/her unique gifts. The brain research Dr. Leaf quotes and references is extremely helpful which I intend to use to do my own research.
