See some of London's most famous sites from a fresh perspective

This is a large format book with dozens of really nice pictures of London and environs (as far away as Hampton Court). Yes, they are pictures of the areas of most interests to tourists, but they are also some of the most beautiful portions of London. I was fortunate to have a job that took me to London more than a dozen times in the mid-nineties. In my down time I learned how wonderful it can be to walk around London and simply look around. It is a city that is much better for walking around than driving around and that is the exact opposite of most American cities. This book gave me a new perspective of many of the things that I had seen. Things do look differently from the air and the landscaping becomes much more clear as does the context of a building within its neighboring structures. If you enjoy viewing London and learning more about this great modern city that has very deep roots in history, this book is an inexpensive way to take a tour and see some of its most famous sites in a new way.
