The Giant

The Giant, starts with a quote from a biblical text in Genesis, "the human race began to increase, with more and more daughters being born. Evil spirits noticed that the daughters of men were beautiful. They looked them over and picked out wives for themselves." Giants were born these unions. A descendant of the giants born in Bulgaria, the Balkans, grew up angry at his alcoholic father, at himself and at the world.
From a force of destruction, he was changed by his love for Mia, a widow. The two of them came to USA as green-card immigrants. They encountered some tough times and joined a church in Chicago. Later on, Balkan became a leader in the church and a force for good.
