Caution! When you start reading this book, you won't be able to put it down! The mystery keeps your attention to the end and the characters are awesome! Kay Jones does an excellent job of creating interesting characters you will love and hate, and uses lots of dialogue which keeps the book interesting! Her descriptions of Gitmo put you there where you swear you can taste and smell the sea air! Hard to believe it's her first book! I can't wait to read her next one! This one is a must read!

It is very funny I heard about this book from a friend and she loved it. At first she said it was slow going and then it picked up and she could not put the book down. Two days later I was on a flight from LAX and a gentlenman was reading it. I asked him what he thought and he was half way through it and loved it. I am now towards the end and hope there is a new book on the way. K.R. Jones is great as far as I am concerned. I am a flight attendant w/ AA and I have seen the book out 3 times. I wish Ms. Jones the best and hope she keeps her writing going, cause God only knows that is all we have left in the airline business (A true novalist). Look forward to her future novels, Tracie DeLuca

Kim Jones had me in Gitmo throughout the novel with her tapestry of lies, deceit and misuse of power. The setting really came alive. I congratulate her on her first novel and look forward to many more. Could there be a movie in her future?
Great book

I'm a busy working mother without much down-time. A book must be good to catch and keep my attention and that's exacty what this book did! It was both interesting and suspenseful, and I loved the twists and turns. K.R. Jones is a skilled writer with an amazing literary ability to transform the reader to the beautiful tropical beaches of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where the story unfolds. You live and feel the lives of the main characters, Adam and Audrey, and the only disappointment felt is when reaching the last page of the book.

Great mystery. Kept me guessing until the end. Enjoyed the characters and I even learned a little bit--I kinda feel like I've been there now. I'm pretty picky, but loved this one. WOuld reccomend it to anyone.
